Bleed Someone Dry are a six-piece deathcore band from Florence, Italy. Since 2007 they have released four albums and three singles, played 87 shows across ten countries and opened for Gojira, Whitechapel and Cryptopsy. Their current era pairs eight-string riffs, keys and electronics with a masked, hooded stage identity.
Formed in Pistoia in 2007 and now based in Florence, Bleed Someone Dry play deathcore with metalcore and mathcore in its blood: down-tuned eight-string guitars, layered keys and electronics, and lyrics about isolation, identity and social decay.
Four albums trace the road so far, from the 2007 debut The World Is Falling in Tragedy to Unorthodox (2019). Post Mortem | Veritas (2015) features CJ McMahon of Thy Art Is Murder and Luca T. Mai of Zu. Since 2023 the singles Hikikomori, Replicant and Taste Of Myself, released through Superbia Music Group, have opened the band's darkest chapter, together with a new visual identity: black hoods, silver masks and the eye inside the triangle. The singles are produced at The Grid Europe by guitarist Jonny; Replicant was mastered by Christian Donaldson of Cryptopsy.
On stage the band have supported Gojira at Milan's Alcatraz, Whitechapel, Cryptopsy and Intervals, played Exit Festival in Novi Sad and Dissonance Festival, and toured Russia (2014), Europe as headliners (2016) and the UK twice (2019, 2022). The live setup is self-contained: six musicians on in-ear monitors, no amps on stage and the band's own sound engineer and light designer.
